Health Care Continued

“The more I read the papers, the less I comprehend the World and all its capers and how it all will end.”  Ira Gershwin, lyric from the prologue of  “Our Love is Here to Stay.”

I am trying to follow the various moves to enact (or defeat) Health Care Reform:  yes, really.  Today I read of the President’s announcing a deadline of 18 March to enact legislation he outlined earlier this month.  The difficulty he seems to be having is with other members of his own party.   This morning (okay, technically yesterday morning as it’s after midnight here) Daily Kos and Talking Points Memo (among other blogs) reported with distaste that Dennis Kucinich is leaning toward voting “no” on the proposed amended version of the Senate Health Care reform bill which members of the House are being asked to enact.  Things are becoming (to quote Lewis Caroll) “curiouser and curiouser.”
